How To Correct a Failed 837 Medicare File

1. Open the failed Medicare file
2. Control F “find”
3. Type in the word in lower case “none”
4. It will highlight where this is EA685700~HInone~NM1DN1cons LNcons FN

Here is example of a good one:

1. EA685700~HInone~NM1DN1cons LNcons FN
2. Delete the “none” and replace it with the correct one.
3. Save and resubmit in OA
4. Inform Sandy
